Mr. Oberlin is an Accredited CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) under the American Hotel and Motel Association / Educational Institute.

Mr. Oberlin’s hotel management experience began in 1985 when he was the General Manager / Owner Representative for the Ramada Inn South in St. Louis, Missouri until 1987. In this capacity, Mr. Oberlin managed all phases in this 175-room property and was instrumental in its sale in 1987. From 1987 to 1998, Mr. Oberlin was Managing Director / Limited Partner of the Holiday Inn Westport in St. Louis, Missouri. The Holiday Inn Westport was voted Hotel of the year in 1991 – 1992 by the St. Louis Visitors and Convention Bureau.

As Managing Director of the Holiday Inn Westport, Mr. Oberlin increased the value of the property from less than $10mm when he took control to selling the property for more than $18mm in 1998. Mr. Oberlin also owns and operates Print Today, Inc., a commercial printing and graphic design company in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Oberlin’s is directly responsible for Marketing with the HMA family of hotels. Due to his efforts and a talented staff of property level Sales Professionals, HMA consistently achieves Yield Indexes that range from a 110% to 140% in their competitive markets.
