Jay
Hartz, CHA, has over 25 years of experience in the hotel industry. He has worked all faucets of the industry
from Rooms Division, F & B, to Sales and Marketing. He has been a General Manager of both Limited
Service and Full Service hotels for over 6 years. Prior to joining HMA Hotels, Jay was a
Regional Sales Manager for Drury Hotels.
For
7 years, Jay was a part time adjunct faculty member at East Central College
teaching in their hospitality program.
He
has served on the following Boards of Directors: SLAMPI or St. Louis Area
Chapter of Meeting Planners International, Maryland Heights Convention and
Visitors Bureau, Dayton Convention and Visitors Bureau, East Central College
Hospitality Program, Southwest Missouri State University’s Hotel and Restaurant
program, along with many other activities that revolve around the hospitality
industry.
Jay’s
current role for HMA consists of managing all aspects of Revenue Management,
Sales and Marketing, along with various aspects of operations.
Jay
has a BSBA from the University of Missouri St. Louis, is current with the CHA
or Certified Hotel Administrator signification, and graduated from the
President’s Club of Sandler Sales Training Institute.
